I've heard that certain medical research companies offer to cut off your pinky toe and sew it back on for reasonable compensation. Is this just a silly rumor or is this true?

I have never heard this, but in this day and age, with a materialistic society and so many people who are completely irresponsible with money, we have come to a point where "anything" is for sale. So there is probably some shyster out there peddling this.
