How MEDICAL RESEARCH is linked to MEDICINE?!?

How is medical research linked to actual medicine and why is it important?

How MEDICAL RESEARCH is linked to MEDICINE?!?
In order for doctors %26amp; scientists to invent and come up with new and working medicines, they need medical research to help them know what properties %26amp; uses their newly founded medicines have and what they can do.

You need knowledge to invent. You need a brain to think with. You need research to become educated. You need medical research before inventing medicines.

Hope this helped!
Reply:It is the basic science that leads to discoveries, changes in the way we think about things. All those esoteric sounding articles are adding to out knowledge of how things work, how they can be changed. Without the basic science, no progress.
Reply:Without research involving medications, and new surgical techniques, there would be no base for physicians to use as a reference point.

The FDA must approve medications which then, become available to physicians to prescribe for their patients to alleviate, control or cure particular illnesses or disorders.

With new surgical techniques, research must be conducted to determine the safest methods to be used before the initial operation (on a human) becomes the standard by which the physicians are enabled to perform the surgery with the least risk to the patient.
