A lot of medical research is rooted in biology, the primary tenent of which is the concept of evolution. So one could say that any deity with a creation story different from this would be offended by medical research.
Are some deities offended in some medical research?
If deities are offended they are free to lodge a complaint toward the scientific and medical research community. You can take their silence on the issue however you want.
Reply:In Christianity animals are fine to use in the development of medicines that improve the quality of man's life.
Reply:If deities exist which i very much doubt, it would be them that gave mankind the intelligence and ability to develop medical research, so why would they be offended by something which they themselves created.
