Argument on why human beings should or should not be used as medical research experiments?
Every approved medication is tested on humans before marketing. These are the phase I/II/III trials mandated by the FDA.





Humans are different from animals. No matter how good the in-vitro or animal model is, it's not a perfect substitute for a human. So you can never be exactly sure how a drug will behave in a human until you try.
Reply:animals should be tested on first. if the object being tested doesnt seem too dangerous, then yes, testing should be done on consenting, healthy adults, in a controlled environment. that being said, its obvious that testing on humans should be done under those circumstances. you cant argue against that. if you are going to put out something that will be used/taken by humans, it better be tested on consenting, healthy adults, before being released to the public.
Reply:I say if it's gonna be used on humans, than use humans as experiments.
Reply:well if a human has given his/her consent.and they are of sound mind.thats a start.animals have not given consent and do not know what is happening to them...also u are never going to get the exact result on an animal as u would on a human.
