Occupation doing medical research?

Would you need to go to medical school or science graduate school(microbiology or something similar)?

Occupation doing medical research?
Alot of times they look for nurses or other medical professionals to help with these research projects. There are so many facets of medical research. You could be talking about statistics, actual medical laboratory personnel, or a myriad of other possibilities. My suggestion is to determine what you are interested in doing and then contact your college advisor-who might be able to hook you up with someone or somewhere to get more information.
Reply:Either one would be acceptable. A lot times the place of employment looks more at the prospective employee's experience more so than the place where they received their education. Plus, you can get the same quality education for less expence and be just as employable as someone who paid a lot of money for their education.
Reply:Either. I would recommend not going the M.D. route if you do not want to see patients, however. Too much work to treat it as a research degree...but you can definitely do research with it.
Reply:Yes, that would be a good place to start.
