I read that HiPPA laws are affecting medical research, what say you?

I would not be surprised if that was the case. I can't even pay invoices for clients sometimes because due to HIPPA the billing agency cannot give verifying information,,,,even though I need this information to verify the client in order to pay the bill! Frustrating.

i would say yes. in my opinion for the better. (better being defined as giving patients more rights)
