Cal Tech does not have a medical school at all.
For research trials in your area, the best thing you can do is contact the national agency of whatever illness you have. They should help direct you towards what you're looking for.
Reply:In order to be accredited, all medical schools must have access to ongoing research that med students can participate in. If you are interested in mental health issues, I recommend logging onto the National Institute of Mental Health (http://www.nimh.nih.gov/) or the American Psychiatric Association's web site (http://www.psych.org/).
