Any studies documented to substantiate the claim of breakfast being the most important meal of the day?

Breakfast for kids is important because they're growing and it helps kick start their brains to aid concentration, but I can tell you from personal experience that the times in my life when I've been the slimmest are the times when I routinely skipped breakfast.





Having breakfast makes you hungry for food for the rest of the day and that isn't going to help you lose or maintain a healthy weight. Breakfast gives you the munchies bigtime and that is BAD!!!!!!!!!





I'm sure the research will disagree with me however.
