What looks better for medical school, Laboratory research or clinical research?

both

What looks better for medical school, Laboratory research or clinical research?
While laboratory research probably looks better for medical school (because it shows you have some fundamental understanding of science), clinical research, if done properly, is just as valuable. However, clinical research requires an understanding of the fundamentals of medicine for it to be done well, and therefore, for someone who have not had clinical experience with patients, it may not be as ideal. Lab research does not require one to know or have had experience with seeing many patients.
Reply:I think it strongly depends on what sector of medicine you have chosen. Lab research (to me) indicates that you have spent a lot of time in the laboratory

Clinic Research (to me) indicates that you have experienced the clinical side as well as lab

When considering your school, check with your guidance counselor
