I have? H1B or J1? i would like to continue working after this one year training and the J1 visa would not be favorable for me.

You can go through H1B directly.

Just find an employer who wants to sponsor you.

Reply:You will need to apply as a J1 and then change your status to H1B after you have found employment. Look while you are doing your research. You will not need to leave the US in order to change your status, just file an application for change/extension of status" Look of the form on www.uscis.gov.
